Is acupuncture covered by insurance?

I am currently an Oxford provider. If your Oxford policy includes an Alternative Healthcare rider, you will pay only your usual copay. If you do not have this rider, you are eligible for a reduced fee schedule that is set by Oxford.

I am also on the roster of Landmark Healthcare who provides coverage through Guardian, Healthnet, MVP and other insurance plans.

Outside of these plans, if acupuncture is a covered service, I will provide you with the information you will need to file a claim for reimbursement.

Treatments can also be paid for with funds from your Medical Flex Spend account.
